CONMEMORA XOCHITEPEC DÍA INTERNACIONAL CONTRA LA HOMOFOBIA, LA TRANSFOBIA Y LA BIFOBIA

El ayuntamiento xochitepequense busca fomentar una cultura de respeto, amor y de cero discriminaciones
Confirmando su compromiso con la inclusión y la dignificación social, el Ayuntamiento de Xochitepec, presidido por Roberto Gonzalo Flores Zúñiga, “Chalo Flores”, conmemoró el Día Internacional contra la Homofobia, la Transfobia y la Bifobia.
Fue en el Centro Cultural Xochitepequense que el Cerro de La Flores a través de su Dirección de Derechos Humanos, Discapacidad, Grupos Vulnerables, Inclusión y Diversidad Sexual recordó el 17 de mayo de 1990 como el día en el que la homosexualidad dejó de ser considerada como una enfermedad mental.
En el evento, se hizo la invitación a fomentar día a día una cultura de respeto, amor y de no discriminación hacia todas las personas, sin importar su orientación sexual o identidad de género. Se reconoció grandes logros conseguidos en temas de inclusión, pero se invitó a seguir trabajando a favor del respeto a los derechos humanos.
Hubo entrega de constancias hacia el personal del Ayuntamiento de Xochitepec por haber concluido con éxito su capacitación denominada “El Paradigma de la Diversidad Sexual y Mujeres Diversas”.
“Desde que asumí la presidencia municipal, mi compromiso fue la capacitación en todos los aspectos, de cómo dirigirnos con respeto y dignidad a todos los ciudadanos y ciudadanas”, dijo “Chalo”, en el evento.
La Comisión Estatal de Atención y Reparación a Víctimas y la Comisión de Derechos Humanos del Estado de Morelos reconocieron la labor de Xochitepec en su labor de concientización y sensibilización hacia la no discriminación.
En el evento, estuvieron presentes además de “Chalo”, Samantha Arellanes Balderas, directora de Derechos Humanos, Discapacidad, Grupos Vulnerables, Inclusión y Diversidad Sexual; y Eva Penélope Picazo Hernández, titular de la Comisión Estatal de Atención y Reparación a Víctimas (CEARV).
Asimismo, Edi Margarita Soriano Barrera, diputada de la LV Legislatura del Congreso del Estado de Morelos; representantes de la Comisión Estatal de Derechos Humanos, del Instituto de la Mujer Morelos, de la Secretaría de Gobierno; así como miembros del cabildo municipal.
